Financial Institutions Board to Hold Annual Meeting
The Board of the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown, Ky. The board will meet from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Eastern time in the Great Hall. The annual meeting provides an opportunity for the 12 members who represent banking, consumer finance, credit unions, public at large and securities to receive and comment on reports relating to the agency’s activities. Other board duties are outlined in Kentucky Revised Statute 286.1-013. The meeting is open to the public.
Gov. Beshear Announces Signing of Construction Partnership for Ohio River Bridges in Louisville
Governor Steve Beshear today announced the Kentucky Labor Cabinet has established a formal site-based construction partnership with Walsh Construction Company and WVB East End Partners, which are building the Downtown Crossing and East End Crossing of the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges project. The project is Kentucky’s largest current transportation infrastructure improvement and is one of the biggest underway in the nation.
2015 Call for Projects for Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds
The Kentucky Infrastructure Authority and the Kentucky Division of Water are announcing the 2015 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and the 2015 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Call for Projects. The 2015 Call for Projects will be open from October 1, 2013 to December 13, 2013. Project submittals will happen electronically and will be coordinated through the Area Water Management Councils. No paper submittals will be accepted.
