Kentucky Rents, your free rental housing directory, has a fresh new look.
January 14, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — Looking for a place to rent? To search for a rental property in your area, go to www.kyrents.org, select your criteria, then click “Search Now.” You can search by size, location and price and gather information about parking, proximity to schools, grocery stores and public transportation. You can even view a map of the area and print directions to the property!
Property managers and owners: In addition to the easier-to-use interface, Kentucky Rents now has several new features:
- Password Retrieval – Forgot your password? You can now have it emailed to you immediately.
- Mapping Capabilities – Now users can see properties on a map and get directions to that property.
- Enhanced Image Gallery – Property owners/managers can now upload an unlimited amount of pictures with no restrictions. Each picture is automatically scaled and compressed to meet site requirements.
- Enhanced Search Results – Search results are faster than ever and important property/unit details are now easier to see. Multiple units for a single property are now grouped for a cleaner interface that is easy to navigate.
- Data Validation – This ensures all required data is entered so that the listings appear as intended.
- Traffic Tracking – We have added some basic monitoring to better enable us to report on usage.
- Improved Support – Administrative changes allow us to provide even better technical support.
If you are property manager or owner that would like to list an available unit, go to www.kyrents.org and click on the “Register with Kentucky Rents” link at the bottom of any page.
