Whitfield Supports Responsible Federal Funding for Transportation and Housing

U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield (KY-01) voted last night in support ofH.R. 2577, the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2016. The measure passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 216 to 210. Whitfield released the following statement upon passage.

Whitfield Holds Hearing to Discuss QER with Secretary of Energy

Green River Correctional Complex, (GRCC) in Central City, received a near-perfect audit score on its recent re-accreditation audit with the American Correctional Association (ACA). PSC Grants Rate Adjustment to Blue Grass Energy

Under a settlement reached with the Kentucky Office of Attorney General and approved by the PSC, the electric distribution cooperative will be allowed to increase annual revenue by about $1.4 million, or 1.24 percent. Rogers Votes to Block EPA Water Rule

U.S. Rep. Harold 'Hal' Rogers (KY-05) cosponsored and voted for the Regulatory Integrity Protection Act of 2015 (H.R. 1732) as the bill passed the full House on Tuesday, May 12.
