Governor Beshear, Mayor Jerry Abramson Appoint Ohio River Bridges Negotiating Team
Group will work with Indiana group to accelerate construction. FRANKFORT, KY - August 17, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Gov. Steve Beshear and Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson today appointed a five-member delegation that will help forge a bi-state partnership with Indiana to accelerate construction of the Ohio River Bridges Project – two new bridges in Louisville to link the two states and the rebuilding of Spaghetti Junction.
Johnson County to receive Waterline Project
August 13, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- The Department for Natural Resources’ Division of Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) announced today the commencement of construction for the Butcher Hollow Water Supply Project for Johnson County. Little Creek Construction has been awarded the project contract with a low bid of $382,033, with Sisler-Maggard Engineering providing engineering inspection services. On-site construction will begin August 17 with a projected completion date of January 2010.
Carlisle County to break ground for $12.9 million courthouse Feb. 27
FRANKFORT, KY - February 19, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — The public is invited to a groundbreaking ceremony for the planned Carlisle County Courthouse on Friday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. The event will take place at the Carlisle County Park at 101 County Road 1311 in Bardwell. The courthouse will be constructed at 985 U.S. Highway 62 in Bardwell.
