Whitfield Leads Charge in the House of Representatives to send Bipartisan Energy Efficiency Bill...
Energy and Power Subcommittee Chairman Ed Whitfield (KY-01) led the charge on the House floor to approve S. 535, the Energy Efficiency Improvement Act of 2015. The measure passed the House of Representatives by a voice vote. This bipartisan legislation includes language from a bill that was advanced by the Energy and Commerce Committee and approved by the full House last year.

Kentucky to receive $500k for state energy efficiency projects

The Commonwealth has been awarded $10,427,000 in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program.Funds from the program will support projects that create jobs, support energy efficiency and conservation in working toward the goals of achieving Kentucky’s comprehensive energy plan.
