January 15, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Housing Policy Advisory Committee (HPAC) will hold a special needs subcommittee meeting at 10:30 a.m., ET, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, as well as a regularly scheduled meeting at 1:30 p.m., ET, on the same day, at Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC), 1231 Louisville Road, Frankfort.
The HPAC was created by the 1996 General Assembly under the Affordable Housing Act. The committee, consisting of 29 members representing the public and private sectors, has the responsibility of addressing and assessing issues that have a direct impact on housing in the Commonwealth. The committee advises the officers and directors of KHC on state housing policy matters. The Corporation annually reports the findings and recommendations of the HPAC to the governor and the interim Joint Committee on Local Government of the Legislative Research Commission.
