FRANKFORT, KY – March 9, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — The Kentucky State Parks today announced more discount opportunities at some of its resort parks.
During the months of March and April, several resort parks are offering discounted rates for cottages, which range from one to three bedrooms. State park cottages are great for spring break trips, long weekends or any other type of family event. These parks are just a few hours away for most Kentucky families. Cottages include kitchens with utensils, bathrooms and living area.
The following parks are offering discount cottage rates seven days a week through April:
– Barren River: lodge vicinity two-bedroom $89 a night; two-bedroom villa $99 a night.
– Buckhorn Lake: two-bedroom, $75 a night; three-bedroom, $85 a night.
– Kentucky Dam Village: one-bedroom $55 a night; two bedroom $65 a night; three bedroom $75 a night.
Discounts at these parks are available Sunday through Thursday nights through April:
– Carter Caves: two-bedroom $84.95 a night.
– Cumberland Falls: one-bedroom $74.95 a night; two-bedrooms $84.95 a night.
– Kenlake: one-bedroom $74.95 a night.
– Lake Cumberland: two bedroom standard cottage $79.95 a night; two bedroom Wildwood Deluxe Cottage $99.95 a night.
– Lake Barkley: two-bedroom cottage $99 a night.
– Natural Bridge: one bedroom $74.95 a night; two bedroom cottage $84.95. (valid through April 14 at this park)
– Pennyrile Forest: one bedroom $65 a night; two bedroom $75 a night.
All of these rates are based on availability and cannot be combined with other offers. The rates do not include taxes.
The Kentucky State Parks also have discounts available during March for lodge rooms. Besides cottages, these parks also feature restaurants, lodges, hiking trails and other recreational and outdoor opportunities.
